Inclusion Criteria
Cases- 150 donors- Repeat voluntary male platelet donors who are eligible as per established national
guidelines/departmental SOPs
Donor who has donated apheresis platelets at least 6 times in the last 12 months for frequent and infrequent groups .
Controls- (30)
First time voluntary male platelet donors who are eligible as per established national
guidelines/departmental SOPs
Not excluded as per exclusion criteria
Exclusion Criteria
Any platelet donor who is not eligible to donate platelets as per national
guidelines/departmental SOPs
Female donors
Any Donor who has donated blood in the last 6 months
