Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Pakshaghata patients\-
- •1\. Presenting with classical signs and symptoms of pakshaghata will be selected.
- •2\. Clinical diagnosis of ischemic stroke, confirmation by CT.
- •3\. Aged between 30 and 80 years.
- •4\. Patients presenting in akeshapaka avastha only will be considered.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Hemorrhagic hemiplegia.
- •2\.Severe co\-existing, terminal diseases which may interfere with the conduct of the study. 3\. Any form of encephalitis /tuberculosis/abscess.
- •4\. Chronicity of more than 1 month.
- •6\. Pakshagata secondary to other causes like neoplasms.
- •7\. Patients who have received therapy of recombinanat tissue plasminogen reactivator (rtPA).
