To see the comparative effect of two ghrita( Go ghrita and jivantyadi ghrita) given through two different routes ( eye and nasal) in computer vision syndrome / dry eye.

Inclusion Criteria

1-Classical symptoms of shushkakshipaka and computer vision syndrome.

2-Eye starin, dryness, burning eye , headache blurred vision.

3-visual acuity should not less than 6/24.

4-minimum 2 hrs exposure to any vdt.

5-Shimmer test wetting >16-6 mm

Exclusion Criteria

1-patients < 8 yrs and > 60 yrs.

2-Patient having complication like acute/chronic infections of lid, conjunctiva, cornea, stye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, uveitis, etc.

3-systemic disease like uncontrolled DM,meningitis,TB.

4-patients with history of ocular trauma.

Primary Outcome Measures

Subjective parameters:- <br/ ><br>Eye strain, dry eye, redness, burning eye, headache, blurring of vision <br/ ><br>Objective parameters:- <br/ ><br>Schirmer test, snellens chart, <br/ ><br>Timepoint: before intervention of tarpan in each eyes with upto eyelashes of ghrita once in a day for 5 days and nasyam in each nostril with 8 drops of ghrita once in a day for 7 days. <br/ ><br>
