•1.Signed and dated Independent Ethics Committee (IEC)-approved written informed consent.
•2.Age >=20 years and <=35 years.
•3.Willingness to provide informed consent.
•4.Planned for induction of labor/augmentation of labor with Cerviprime gel or oxytocin
•5.Cervical dilation of <4 cm.

•1.Any preexisting condition/contraindications abnormal creatinine levels (Cr <1.1 mg/dL), hepatic dysfunction (SGOT/PT >2 times upper limits of normal and/or bilirubin >1.5 mg/dl.)
•2.Enrolled in other active intervention research studies
•3.Having diabetes mellitus Type 1 & Type 2.
•4.Any other preexisting medical conditions
•5.Planned for elective C section.
•6.Active cardiac disease.
•7.Lactose intolerance patients.
•8.Non-healing wound, ulcer, or bone fracture.
•9.Ongoing infection, known history of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, tuberculosis, or chronic hepatitis B or C.
•10.Any illness or medical conditions that are unstable or could jeopardize the safety of the patient and his/her compliance in the study.
