1.Senile and Presenile cataract
2.Age:50-75 years
3.Corneal astigmatism between 1.0 D and 1.5 D on Optical biometry (IOL Master 700, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG)
4.Pupillary dilatationof 6 mm or more pharmacologically
5.The eligible patients who opt for Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery
6.Presumed power of IOL to be implanted ranging between +18-+23 D
1.The patients of cataract not willing to go for Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery
2.Dilated pupil size less than 6mm pharmacologically
3. Any pre-existing corneal pathology
4.Post ocular trauma
5.Irregular astigmatism
6.Phacodonesis
7.Pseudoexfoliation syndrome
8.Patients with severe systemic disorders like Steven Johnson syndrome, Rheumatoid arthritis, Scleroderma etc.
9.Glaucoma
10.Evidence of Uveitis
11.Marked corneal scarring (apart from cataract surgery)
