Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • The criteria to be included into the treatment were being single, having regular menstrual periods, having primary dysmenorrhea for three periods in a row, not having physical problems for hiking, and getting the score higher than 14 in BDI.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Factors such as pelvic or lower abdominal surgeries, coagulopathy, experiencing abnormal abdominal or pelvic sonography, taking alcoholic drinks, drugs, contraceptives, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and stress were considered as the exclusion criteria. It is worth mentioning that all participants were taking antidepressant drugs.
