1.Patients who agree to participate in the study by signing the informed consent.
2.Age >=18 years
3.Full mouth plaque index score <20% and full mouth modified sulcular bleeding index score <20%.
4.Patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis. 5. Presence of at least one intra-osseous defect with presurgical PD >= 5 mm and radiographic depth (as assessed on periapical radiograph) >= 3 mm; limited to no extension of the periodontal intraosseous defect on the lingual/palatal side as assessed by pre-operative bone sounding.
1. Patients with systemically compromised health.
2. Periodontal surgical treatment during the previous 24 months in the involved site.
3. Pregnant or lactating women.
4. Non-compliant patients.
5. Restorations and superficial caries in the area to be treated.
6. Fully restored teeth.
7. Third molars and teeth with grade III mobility 8. furcation involvement 9. inadequate endodontic treatment and/or restoration
