Informed consent of participants (informed consent of caregivers in case of minors)
Between 15 and 21 years of age, self-assessment, online at T0
Access to a computer and internet, self-assessment, online at T0
Adequately skilled in reading and writing in German, self-assessment, online at T0
Clinically relevant Posttraumatic stress symptoms (Child and Adolescent Trauma Screen, CATS = 21, Sachser et al., 2017) self-assessment online at T0
Meeting diagnostic criteria for PTSD according to DSM-5 criteria (Clinical Administred PTSD Scale according to DSM 5 for Children and Adolescents CAPS-CA 5, Pynoos et al., 2015) in clinical interview at T0
Current secure living conditions (self-developed) assessed in clinical interview at T0
Instable medication self-assessment (current medication started close to the start of the study or it is planned to change the medication during the course of the study, within the subsequent 10 weeks) assessed online at T0
Psychotherapy self-assessment (currently receiving psychotherapy or on a waiting list for a psychotherapy that starts within the subsequent 10 weeks) assessed online at T0;
Severe mental symptoms other than PTSS, who require primary treatment:
History of psychotic disorder/acute psychosis, self-assessment, measured by questions adapted from the diagnostic interview for mental disorders for children (Kinder-DIPS, Schneider, Pflug, In-Albon, & Margraf, 2017) assessed in online-assessment at T0;
Or acute suicidality measured by adapted items from the self-injurious thoughts and behaviors interview (SITBI, Nock, Holmberg, Photos, & Michel, 2007) assessed in clinical interview at T0;
Substance dependency assessed by items from the Alcohol Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT > 8; Saunders et al., 1993), by items from the Cannabis Use Disorder Identification Test Revised (CUDIT-R > 13; Adamson et al., 2010), by items on the use of other drugs and medication (self-developed); and by items on coping behavior (self-development), in clinical interview at T0
