Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Septic shock diagnosed according to the modified International Consensus Conference on Pediatric Sepsis criteria for cardiovascular dysfunction
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Hypovolumic shock.
- •2\.Baby diagnosed or suspected to have congenital heart disease.
- •3\.Baby already on inotropes.
- •4\.Severe birth asphyxia with evidence of HIE II or III in term/near\-term neonates of \&\#61619;35 weeks (Sarnat staging) or mild/moderate/severe encephalopathy (Levene classification) in preterm neonates of \<35 weeks.
