All patients undergoing bariatric surgery who give a valid consent will be included in the study.
1.Patients who cannot undergo bariatric surgery due to anatomical considerations.
2.Age < 18 years and > 60 years
3.Patients with decompensated chronic liver disease.
4.Patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
5.Patients with Chronic Liver Disease due to other known causes (non-NAFLD related).
6.Patients with chronic hepatitis B or chronic hepatitis C or HIV.
7.Patients who do not give a valid consent.
