: Association of TMJ symptoms and screen time shall be assessed in this study .

Study Overview

Brief Summary

Screen time is constantly increasing in todays population . An increase in the prevalence of TMJ pain is also seen . once the patient comes with the problem of TMJ pain , screen time is one factor which is often not taken into consideration . This study is an attempt to co-relate the screen time and its association with increasing TMJ pain especially amongst student population .Association of TMJ symptoms and screen time shall be assessed in this study.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients in the age group of 18 -40 years
  • Patients experiencing TMJ pain for more than 2 weeks persistently .
  • Patients who agreed to be a part of the study .

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients with previous history of trauma .
  • Patient suffering from serious medical conditions
  • Patients suffering from TMJ arthritis
  • Patients who do not wish to be a part of the study
  • having a diagnosis of systemic, metabolic neurological, or immune disorder or disease.
  • Patients who cant read English.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

: Association of TMJ symptoms and screen time shall be assessed in this study .

Time Frame: Assessed at 4 weeks and 8 weeks
