Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Primigravidae mothers admitted in Lady Goschen hospital, who underwent a normal vaginal delivery
  • •2\. Single intra\-uterine gestation
  • •3\. Mothers literate in Kannada
  • •4\. Mothers willing to bring their child for follow up in Regional Advanced Paediatric Care Centre hospital for immunisation.
  • •5\. Mothers with access to a smartphone.
  • •6\. Neonates which are term and Appropriate for Gestational Age

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Mothers not willing to breastfeed or have a contraindication to breastfeeding
  • •2\. Mothers with postpartum complications, requiring ICU admission
  • •3\. Neonates with orofacial malformations
  • •4\. Neonates requiring intensive care (NICU admission)
