Inclusion Criteria

Children between 6 months to 5 yrs referred to OPD &/or admitted with SAM as per one of the 3 criteria (WHO) W/H < -3 SD,MUAC < 11.5 cm or Bilateral Pedal edema

Exclusion Criteria

1.Children with chronic illnesses

2.Inability to take orally

3.Children already on any nutritional supplements
