Inclusion Criteria
1. 18 years and above requiring central line for various reasons
Exclusion Criteria
1.Clinical Coagulopathy
2.Platelet count less than 100,000 µL-1
3.Activated partial thromboplastin time greater than 1.5 times control
4.International Normalized Ratio >1.5
5.Local infection at the catheterization site 6.Fracture clavicle
7.Suspected subclavian vessel injury
8.Contra lateral lung abnormality
9. Patient refusal to participate in the study
