Inclusion Criteria

i) Patients of ASA grade I & II criteria.

ii) Age between 15 to 65 years.

iii) Patients understand procedure & can give written consent.

iv) Patients who understand VAS score.

v) Patients hemodynamically stable.

Exclusion Criteria

i) Cases contra-indicated for sub-arachnoid block.

ii) Pregnant and Lactating mother.

iii) Patients with H/O MgSO4 allergy.

iv) Patients with drug and alcohol abuse.

v) Patients on treatment with calcium channel blocker.

vi) Patients having liver disease.

vii) Patients having cardiac disease.

viii) Hematological disorders or Musculo-skeletal disorders.

ix) Patients having renal disease.

x) Neurological deficit / Psychological disorder.

xi) Uncontrolled D2M.

xii) Immunocompromised patients.

xiii) Failed spinal converted to General anesthesia.

Expect that it will prolong <br/ ><br>the duration of demand the first rescue analgesia and also reduce total <br/ ><br>post-operative analgesic requirements of analgesic drugs during the first 48 hour.Timepoint: JUNE 2020 TO AUGUST 2021.
