- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Comparison of first attempt success rate of ultrasound guided peripheral internal jugular with peripheral venous cannulation under ultrasound guidance in patients with difficult venous access.Timepoint: To assess the ability to cannulate the vein using ultrasound in the first attempt which is the baseline
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Duration of cannula patencyTimepoint: To find the duration until which the cannula is patent & it is checked on daily basis ( day 1 to day 14 );Time taken to establish venous accessTimepoint: Duration between application of tourniquet & securing the cannula in position;Total number of attempts to secure the cannula.Timepoint: To find the total number of attempts to secure the cannula <br/ ><br>( 1 to 5 )
