Inclusion Criteria
Previously healthy patients with singleton pregnancy, diagnosed with pre-eclampsia or normotensives without pre-eclampsia presenting for cesarean section under spinal anaesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal, patients in labour, or with polyhydramnios, fetal abnormalities, history of bladder dysfunction or abdominal masses, any contraindication to spinal block, or failure to achieve post spinal sensory level of atleast T6.

Name Time Method Intra-abdominal pressureTimepoint: Just before the subarachnoid block, at onset of sensory block to T6 level after spinal block; post-operatively after completion of surgery and 2 hours later.
