Participation in a preliminary interview to clarify group suitability
- Signed consent form for study participation and to collect personal data
- Interpersonal experiences of violence (physical, emotional, and/or sexual) in the past
- Sexual dysfunction (according to ICD-10 criteria) or symptoms in the area of sexuality such as avoidance behavior, dissociation during sex, risk sexuality, trauma-associated emotions and cognitions
- Ability to self-regulate during intrusive and dissociative experiences
- Acute crises
- Continued contact with perpetrator
- Violence in the current partnership
- Severe self-harming behavior
- Acute suicidal tendency
- Serious suicide attempt within the past six months.
- Psychotic symptoms
- Regular and heavy use of drugs, alcohol, and tranquilizers
- Reduced intelligence (IQ<80)
- Neurological conditions that preclude participation in the treatment program
- Physical illnesses that preclude participation in the treatment program
- Insufficient knowledge of the German language to participate in the psychotherapy program
- Insufficient group ability
