Inclusion Criteria
• patients with histologically confirmed rectal Ca <16 cm from the dentate line with mesorectal excision.
• ulcerative colitis patients with proctocolectomy and IPAA
Exclusion Criteria
• previous surgery in the pelvis as cystoprostatectomy

Name Time Method Application of questionnaires for quality of life:<br>-LARS - Low anterior resection syndrome<br>-IPSS - International Prostate Symptom Score<br>-IIEF - International Index for Erectile Function, -FSFI - Female Sexual Function Index,<br>and, quality of life score for Colorectal Diseases - EORTC QLQ-C29 differentiation of total points preoperative and postoperative in 6 to 12 months.
