Inclusion Criteria

Patients having Madhyama koshtha and age between 18 to 60 years

Patients having minimum 2 symptoms of Anaha from Mala Pravritti related diagnostic criteria and minimum 3 symptoms from associated diagnostic criteria

Patient with chronicity not more than 6 months

(A)Symptoms related to Mala Pravritti (Defecation).

Purish Sanga/Apravruti (stasis of stool)

Kruchharen Purisha Pravruti (difficulty in defecation)

Chirat Purisha Pravruti (taking long time in defecation)

Shushka Mala (hard stool)

(B)Associated Symptoms

Adhmana (bloating of Abdomen)

Atopa (gurgling sound)

Udara Shoola (pain in abdomen)

Udara Gaurava (heaviness of abdomen)

Udgaradhikya (eruption)

Hrillasa (nausea)

Aruchi (anorexia)

Shirah Shoola (headache)

Exclusion Criteria

Age of patients less than 18 years or more than 60 years

Patients having major systemic disease like cardiac disease, chronic kidney disease, Diabetes mellitus

Patients suffering from chronic major G.I. tract disorders like Ulcerative Colitis, G.E.R.D., Dysentery, Celiac Disease and Diverticulitis will be also excluded

Pregnant women and Lactating mothers

Where Anaha is a symptom of other diseases
