Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •candidate to receive colistin to treat infection with positive blood culture for multi\-drug resistance gram negative organism which is sensitive to colistin
  • •pneumonia with positive tracheal culture for multi\-drug resistance gram negative organism which is sensitive to colistin
  • •urinary tract infection with positive urinary culture for multi\-drug resistance gram negative organism which is sensitive to colistin
  • •meningitis with positive Cerebrospinal fluid culture for multi\-drug resistance gram negative organism which is sensitive to colistin
  • •receiving colistin for at least one week

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Chronic kidney disease
  • •Acute kidney injury
  • •Receiving amphotericin B
  • •Receiving intravenous ascorbic acid
  • •Active bleeding
  • •Patient's death
