Patients with bilateral senile uncomplicated cataract with nuclear sclerosis grade 1 to 3 planned for sequential cataract surgery by phacoemulsification technique under topical anesthesia
1.Patients unwilling for undergoing cataract surgery under topical anaesthesia 2. Past cataract surgery except operated for subject study 3. Any ocular condition that may affect pain perception 4. Patients having inflammatory conditions of eye and annexa 5. Patients with insufficient pupillary dilatation

Name Time Method A reduction in overall pain perception using lubricated eyelid speculum compared to a non-lubricated eyelid speculum is expected and the amount of reduction in overall pain perception may vary between two eyelid speculumsTimepoint: immediate post operation period (day 0-that is on the day of surgery)- within ten minutes of completion of surgery, no further time points
