All patients treated with primary or revision total knee arthroplasty in the clinic for orthopedic and trauma surgery of the University Hospital Bonn from 01/01/2008 until 31/12/2012.

Name Time Method Occurrence of postoperative complications (defined as unexpected adverse events (myocardial infarction, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), postoperative artificial respiration, postoperative demand for catecholamines and/or resuscitation), demand for postoperative blood transfusion and necessary transfer to Intermediate Care- (IMC) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is retrospectively anonymized evaluated through institutional database (ORBIS).
