Being 30 to 70 years old
Having type 2 diabetes that at least 3 months have passed since the diagnosis
Proteinuria
Plasma hydroxy vitamin D levels above 20
Serum calcium less than 10 and phosphorus less than 5.5
Consent to participate in the study
Hypercalcemia
Uncontrolled blood pressure
Hyperparathyroidism
Kidney stone disease
Chronic kidney disease
Chronic liver disease
Heart failure
Calcium and phosphorus metabolic disorders such as osteoporosis and bone metastasis
PTH being suppressed
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Malignancy
History of hormone therapy and supplementation with active vitamin D or calcium
HbA1c > % 7/5
Urinary tract Infection
Prescribe calcium channel blocker

Name Time Method Proteinuria. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the start of the intervention) and 1, 2 and 3 months after the start of taking active vitamin D. Method of measurement: Measurement of protein in 24-hour urine.

Name Time Method Glomerular filtration rate (GFR). Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the start of the intervention) and 1, 2 and 3 months after the start of taking active vitamin D. Method of measurement: Based on test results.
