- •The inclusion criteria were the following: mechanically ventilated adult patient, aged 20 years and above, admitted to the trauma ICU, and patients whom the attending physician found to be capable of receiving oral management.
排除标准
- •when patients or their legal representatives declined to participate in the study, when patients were not well enough to receive oral management, when patients could not receive oral management owing to severe maxillofacial injury, and when patients could not receive oral management for other reasons. Finally, we excluded patients who were diagnosed with pneumonia or were pregnant at the time of admission
