入选标准
- •45 ASA grade I - III patients of age group 18-60 years, with a BMI of >=35kg/m2requiring elective intubation for bariatric or other surgical procedures were enrolled into the study
排除标准
- •1. ASA IV,V patients
- •2. Patients undergoing emergency surgery
- •3.Patients with respiratory/ oral and pharyngeal pathology.
- •4. Patients with predicted difficult intubation:
- •a.Craniofacial abnormalities/cervical spine disease/ restricted mouth opening <1.5cm/buck teeth/ macroglossia / patients scheduled for oral surgery.
- •b.Restricted mouth opening (Temperomandibular joint ankylosis, submucous fibrosis)
- •5.Patient refusal for participation in the study
