Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1. Patients scheduled to undergo elective surgery.
  • 2. American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status I/II.
  • 3. Age more than 60 years of either gender.
  • 4. BMI equal to 18 to 30 kg / m2.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1. Patients with pre-operative / existing cognitive dysfunction.
  • 2. Patient refusing to give Informed Consent.
  • 3. History of Psychiatric illness, Drug abuse.
  • 4. Severe cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic or neurological disease.
  • 5. Coagulopathy.
  • 6. Patients on steroids.
  • 7. Morbid obesity (BMI >35 kg / m2)
