Inclusion Criteria
Age between 1 and 14 years old. Intravenous therapy peripherally for 48 hours or more. Use of a Short Peripheral Intravenous Catheter for intermittent or continuous medication administration
Exclusion Criteria
Children who request to withdraw their consent or whose parents no longer consent to their participation during follow-up and children who remove the Short Peripheral Intravenous Catheter accidentally or on their own will be excluded from the research

Name Time Method It is expected to find a difference between the catheter dwell time between the control group and the intervention group. The dwell time will be measured from the date and time of insertion of the device until the moment of its removal. It will be described in hours
