Healthcare workers with LTBI at Vajira Hospital who have had significant close contact with patients diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis during the 3 months before the index case began treatment, meeting one of the following criteria:
1.Contact with contagious TB for at least 8 hours per day in the same location.
2.Cumulative contact of 120 hours or more per month with contagious TB patients.
3.Exposure to poorly ventilated areas where contagious tuberculosis patients were present and where adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) was not used
1. HCWs with a history of contact with patients diagnosed with drug-resistant tuberculosis, viral hepatitis infection, human immunodeficiency virus infection, abnormal liver function tests, related to high access alcohol, active cancer on treatment, unstable myocardial ischemia, heart failure grade 3 or 4, other serious illness, potentially serious drug interactions, history of allergic reaction to isoniazid or rifapentine
