Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1) All elective patients admitted for surgical repair of cardiovascular disease.
- •2) Male, Female patients above 18 years of age
- •3) subjects ready to give written informed consent
- •4) subjects willing to follow up till 3 months after the intervention
Exclusion Criteria
- •1) Subjects with history of or current neurological or psychiatric impairment, or cognitive dysfunction that could compromise data collection
- •2)Subject with severe respiratory or cardiac compromise
- •3) Subjects with severely deranged renal or hepatic function or active infection
- •4) Subjects with postoperative complications
- •(delayed extubation or prolonged ventilation beyond 48 hours)that may jeopardize the study outcome.
