Effect of gongs mobilisation with conventional therapy on pain functional disability hand grip strength and quality of life in adhesive capsulitis patients

研究概览

简要总结

Patient will receive informed consent before beginning of the study.Patients will be provided with detailed explanation about safety procedures and purpose of the study including sign symptoms and possible outcomes

Patient will be randomly divided into three groups

Group A- (Gong’s mobilisation) patient position in supine position focusing on shoulder joint mobilisation on capsular stretching treatment was given 5 session per week for 4 weeks with 10 - 15 repetition per session

Group B - (conventional therapy) recieved codman pendulum exercise ,finger ladder exercise towel strengthening rope and pulley exercises anterior shoulder stretching therapeutic ultrasound for 5 session per week for 4 weeks

Group C- Gong’s Mobilisation with conventional therapy administered 5 sessions per week for 4 weeks

入选标准

  • Subjects with frozen shoulder diagnosed by orthopaedician Subjects with stage II and stage III of adhesive capsulitis Subjects of both genders between the age group of 41–60 years Subjects with restricted ROM.

排除标准

  • Subjects with rotator cuff tears Overuse injury History of RA, OA, and malignancies in the shoulder region Frozen shoulder secondary to neurological disorder Post-surgical cases.
