入排标准
入选标准
- •1. Patients of hypertension with SBP 140-179 mm of Hg and DBP 90-100 mm of Hg
- •2. Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring for at least one day.
- •3. Willingness to participate in this study.
排除标准
- •1.Patient with SBP >=180 mm of hg and diastolic BP >100 mm of hg and secondary hypertension,
- •2.Pregnant and lactating females,
- •3.Females using oral contraceptive pills regularly,
- •4.Patients taking any other medication affecting blood pressure like NSAIDs,
- •5.Patients with abnormality in investigations done at baseline (SGPT >105 IU).
- •6.Obese subjects â?? BMI >30, patients with disorders requiring long term-treatment, e.g., diabetes mellitus, drug addicts, alcoholics /malignancy /epilepsy /CAD/CKD, patients with sinus bradycardia, i.e., pulse rate less than 60/min.
- •7.Treatment defaulters
- •8.Life threatening medical problems
