Inclusion Criteria

Female gender; age from 65 to 80 years; obesity (body mass index equal or more than 30 kg/m2); sarcopenia (hand-grip strength equal or lower than 21 kilograms)

Exclusion Criteria

Physical, sensory or cognitive disfunctions that do not allow participation in the exercise programs; cardiovascular, articular or metabolic disease in acute phase or not clinically controlled;urinary or fecal incontinence; contagious dermatologic diseases; open scars; physical therapy for lower limbs; fracture or surgery for lower limbs in the last 12 months; severe venous insufficience.

Expected outcome: improvement on muscle performance of lower limbs, verified by Biodex isokinetic dinamometer, from the observation of an increasing of 20% of mean value of strength (Nm/kg) and muscle power (w/kg) of knee and hip muscles.<br>;Observed outcome: improvement on muscle performance of lower limbs, verified by Biodex isokinetic dinamometer, from the observation of an increasing of 20% of mean value of muscle power (w/kg) of knee and hip muscles.;Expected outcome: improvement on functional capacity of locomotion, measured through velociy in the functional tests of usual gail speed (10 meters test), maximal gait speed(Shuttle Walking Test), ascending and descending stairs speed and<br> Short Physical Battery (SPPB), from the observation of an increasing of 20% of mean value of velocity in each test.;Observed outcomes: no changes in this outcome
