- Female
入选标准
- •(1) diagnosis of PCOS
- •(2) oligomenorrhea
- •(3) 18–43 years of age
- •(4) overweight with body mass index (BMI) = 23 kg/m2
- •(5) diagnosis of phlegm by phlegm pattern questionnaire
排除标准
- •(1) pregnancy or breastfeeding within the past 12 weeks
- •(2) intake of oral contraceptive or ovulation inducing agent within the past 8 weeks
- •(3) severe oligomenorrhea with menstrual period over 3 months within the past one year
- •(4) endocrine disorders (thyroid disease, Cushing’s disease, or hyperprolactinemia) that influence hormone levels
- •(5) ovarian tumor or adrenal tumor that can induce hyperadrogenemia
- •(6) severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, and renal diseases
