1.All patients with diagnosis of sepsis.
2. Patients who will stay in ICU for minimum of 72 hours.
3. Patients who were taking calcium channel blockers or beta blockers prior to
admission
1.Patients or Relatives refusal to give consent.
2.Hemo-dynamically unstable patients.
3.Patients requiring inotropic support(noradrenaline) for hypotension in a dose of more than or equal to 0.1 mcg/kg/min during ICU stay.
4. Age < 18years and >65 yrs.
5. Patient with septic shock.
6. Previously diagnosed case of sepsis referred from some other centre
