Inclusion Criteria

First trimester missed, spontaneous or incomplete abortions indicated for surgical termination of pregnancy and opting for LNS-IUS insertion.

Exclusion Criteria

Women with septic abortion, known or suspected molar pregnancy, medical disorders, bleeding tendency, pelvic infection, uterine abnormality as fibroids and any contraindication to LNS-IUS insertion.
