Inclusion Criteria
1. ASA:Physical Status 1 and 2.
2. Height of patient 140-180cm.
3. Expected duration of surgery less than 2 hours.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Contraindication for spinal anaesthesia.
2. Documented or diagnosed psychiatric or neurological illness.
3. Documented or diagnosed hearing impairment.
4. Allergy to any drug likely to be used during anaesthesia.
5. Persons taking drugs to influence their mood.
6. Patient refusal to spinal anaesthesia or music therapy
