Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Children belonging to ASA group I/II
  • •2\. Age range between 3\-12 years of either sex

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Children belonging to ASA Grade 3 and 4
  • •2\. Children with history of coagulation disorders such as hemophilia, ITP, tumors or
  • •3\. Active infection at the site of injection such as cellulitis, abscess, meningitis etc.
  • •4\. Unstable BP or heart rate
  • •5\. Patient or parent refusal
  • •6\. Scoliosis
  • •7\. Congenital anomaly of spinal cord or vertebral bodies
  • •8\. Relatively contraindicated in patients with decreased cardiac function and in patients
  • •with muscular dystrophy
