- •Presence of bilaterally impacted lower third molars with a similar extraction difficulty
排除标准
- •1] Teeth affected by acute infections, such as pericoronitis, an acute alveolar abscess at the time of surgery.
- •2] Patients on steroid treatments.
- •3] Patients with conditions in which cortisol secretion is altered (Addisonâ??s disease, Cushingâ??s syndrome, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia).
- •3] Patients with conditions of decreased or altered secretion of saliva (caused by atropine, calcium channel blockers, antidepressants, antihistamines, Sjogrenâ??s syndrome, and radiotherapy)
- •4] Patients with systemic diseases.
- •5] Patients who smoke.
- •6] Pregnant patients.
- •7] Patient allergic to penicillin or other drugs used in the standardized postoperative therapy.
- •8] Patient with chronic alcoholism
