Inclusion Criteria

Patients undergoing unilateral modified radical mastectomy

Asa 1,2 and 3

Exclusion Criteria

Patient refusal

Allergic to local anesthetic agents

Patients with psychiatric disorders

Contraindicated to regional anesthesia(indicating coagulopathy, infection at the injection site)

History of chronic use of opioids

postoperatively sensory block will be assessed for lateral pectoral, median pectoral, intercostals, thoracodorsal and long thoracic nerves with pin prick method using 23G hypodermic needle in their area of distribution, barring the area of surgical incision. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 0 min, 30 min, 2hrs, 4 hrs, 6 hrs, 12 hrs, 18 hrs, 24hrs
