1. Women who are experiencing menstrual irregularities of >= 7 day difference in length of
consecutive cycles or interval of amenorrhea of >= 60 days with at least one vasomotor symptom
(hot flushes) according to STRAW aging criteria.
2. Women in age group of 40-55 years
3. Women who can speak and understand English or Kannada
4. Women who are willing to participate/willing to undergo therapy
5. Having full consciousness
6. Having an acceptable ability to listen and speak the received training
7. The ability to perform self-care techniques at home
8. Women who are available at home
1.Women who has thyroid disease (not under control), skin infections, depression and varicose
vein.
2.Women who use hormonal replacement therapy.
3.Women who use any herbal medicine or any form of alternative or complimentary treatment.
4.Women who use drugs causing sleep disorders or on drug for sleep problems.
5. Women who are on herbal preparations or home remedies for the peri-menopausal
symptoms.
