1. More than 3 months post stroke
2. MCA stroke
3. No cognitive issue (Mini-Mental State Examination >25)
4. Manual Muscle Test grade greater than 2
5. Age 25 - 70 years
6. Residual upper limb movements:
a. 30° elevation of the arm (movement in shoulder joint with the elbow extended)
b. 20° wrist extension against gravity
c. 10° finger extension (proximal interphalanx and metacarpophalanx) of at least 1 finger against gravity
d. Ability to open the hand in any position so that a small ball (diameter, 1.8cm) could be accommodated.
7. Willing to give informed consent
1. Pain while moving upper limb
2. Place of residence outside 30km radius from CMCH.
3. Allergy to use of plastic material.
