Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) All AA patients with two or more patches
- •2\) Alopecia areata patients who have not received any other systemic or topical treatment for the disease in the past 1 month.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) Pregnant or lactating females
- •2\) Patients with history of any existing scalp skin diseases (seborrheic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis), infections
- •3\) Severe systemic illness (as uncontrolled DM or hypertension, liver or renal diseases)
- •4\) Immunocompromised patients
- •5\) Patients with alopecia totalis and alopecia universalis.
- •6\) Patients who are contraindicated for cryotherapy such as having cold intolerance, vasculitis, raynaudâ??s phenomenon and cryoglobulinemia.
