Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients between the age group of 18-60 years.

2. Stage of dental caries â?? score 3, score 4 and score 5 (as per ICDAS scale).

3. Those who may not be able to undergo RCT or any such surgical intervention on immediate basis.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Fractured/cracked tooth, patients with periodontal abscess, previous cases of dental

restorations or a loose or broken dental filling, painful braces, multiple dental caries.

2. Pregnant females, known cases of hyperacidity and GERD, liver disorders, liver failure,

uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes, severe renal impairment or other chronic disorders.

3. Toothache due to all other conditions other than dental caries ; like trauma, periodontitis,

infection, referred pain from the jaw, impacted tooth, space infection, sinusitis, trigeminal

neuralgia, occipital neuralgia and also as the early signs of heart diseases.
