•- sensory deficit without any major motor component
•- age group 18 to 70 years
•- history of low backache with or without radiculitis of minimum 3 months duration and
•-no relief with conservative treatment will be included in the study.

•1.Contraindications to epidural anaesthesia, such as local infections, generalised septicaemia, platelet and clotting factor abnormalities, significant neurological disease with motor or sensory deficit, diagnosed increased intracranial pressure
•2.Contraindications to epidural ketamine like h/o psychiatric disorder, raised intracranial or intraocular pressure, h/o cardiovascular disorder or uncontrolled hypertension.
•3.Contraindications to epidural clonidine like history of cardiovascular disease, history of postural hypotension or history of any psychiatric disorder.
•4.A known history of allergy, sensitivity or any other form of reaction to local anaesthetics of amide type or opioids.
•5.Psychiatric history or any other concomitant disease which may lead to unreliability.
•6.Patients with spinal cord deformities like scoliosis, kyphosis in whom there is anticipated difficult epidural anaesthesia.
•7.LESI done before enrolling patient for study
•8.H/o spinal surgery
•9.Caudaequina syndrome
•10.Epidural lipomatosis
•11.Opioid habituation
•12.Pregnancy
