Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All patients with biopsy\-proven or suspected abdominopelvic (gastrointestinal, hepato\-pancreatico\-biliary and gynaecological) malignancies of epithelial origin undergoing elective surgery with a potential curative intent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Pre\-Operative:
  • •1\.Patients with recurrent disease
  • •2\.Patients with metastatic disease (peritoneal/ elsewhere)
  • •3\.Patients with synchronous or metachronous intra\-abdominal malignancies
  • •4\.Age less than 18 years
  • •5\.Patients not giving consent
  • •Intra\-operative:
  • •6\.Unresectable peritoneal/ parenchymal metastasis
  • •7\.Intra\-operative detection of tumour perforation
  • •8\.Patients undergoing R2 resection
