Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients of either gender over 18 years of age
  • 2\. Patients having lesions on face, neck and thorax
  • 3\. Patients with a clinical diagnosis of tinea versicolor, confirmed by microscopic KOH test

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Pregnant and lactating females
  • 2\. Patients with:
  • i. Contact dermatitis, Atopic dermatitis or other skin diseases
  • ii. Other tinea infections
  • iii. Hypersensitivity to study drugs
  • iv. Therapy on other antifungal within a month
  • v. Serious concomitant illness
  • vi. Extensive tinea versicolor
