Inclusion Criteria
Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of chronic tonsillitis
Patients with hypertrophy of tonsils and causing obstructive sleep apnea
Patients above 14 years of age
Patients who fail medical therapy
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with active infection, bleeding disorders
Patients with uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, bronchial asthma
Patients with contraindications to general anaesthesia
