Inclusion Criteria
All outpatients (age above 30 years) attending routine OPD
Exclusion Criteria
Known case of Diabetes mellitus; pregnancy; alcoholics attending OPD who are not in the state to give consent; outpatients requiring emergency care.

Name Time Method Proportion (number) of outpatients whose RBG was above or equal to 6.1 mmol/l and got their fasting plasma glucose tested in intervention arm as well as control armTimepoint: Anytime within 3 days from the date of initial screening with RBS. <br/ ><br>Patients if eligible, should return for definitive tests, fasting and postprandial blood glucose, within three working days of initial Random blood glucose screening
