no psychological or physical disorders or disabilities that are likely to cause fluctuations in cognitive performance during the study period
- age is at least 18 years
- eating behaviour is stable, i.e., either omnivore or vegetarian/vegan for at least 6 months
- They have not taken creatine in the last 6 months before the study begins
- They are able to consent
- They do not consume on average more than 20g of alcohol per day (if female) or not more than 40g of alcohol per day (if male)
- They do not consume recreational drugs more than once a week
- They do not do more than 6 hours of intense sports per week

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Test scores in the two tests:<br>- standardised 10-minute subtest of Raven Advanced Progressive Matrices<br>- Wechsler auditory Backward Digit Span (BDS) task (Wechsler 1955)<br><br>All participants are tested three times: At the beginning, after creatine supplementation and after placebo supplementation. We will test 120 participants. Participation ends for each participant after the third testing round.
